I'm shocked. Also, I had not expected the resignation of Horst Köhler. And now it has happened suddenly, now we are suddenly without a head of state. At first I thought this would be a bad joke. I expect though for weeks at a fraction of the coalition, but that this could happen, that came really unexpected. I think it shows very well in what situation we find ourselves. It is not agreed, in virtually any point. Quick rise the voices, the slightest form of criticism is immediately taken as an opportunity to throw himself on the critics and to refute applied it (at best) or it simply as a subversive to stamp. Simply because it lacks, perhaps from violent (and possibly even some unjustified) criticism filter out the main points and to let go at least once through the head before zurückbrüllt. It almost seems as if all politicians had a guilty conscience that they are in need, with critics immediately take a defensive stance.
Koehler's resignation makes me sad anyway. I think he was a good man, one who also was once felt. One who is opposed to things that could not support it, rather than to simply nod. He has the good office filled, I doubt that we will find such a again, especially now in such a short. Actually, I
